Triple blow from the Sun - the threat is growing

Two solar flares of the highest X score occurred on February 22, 2024. The ejection was from a large sunspot AR3590. These solar flares were impulsive (duration up to 30 minutes). The first occurred around 2 a.m. Moscow time, the second between 9 and 10 a.m.

ℹ️ According to preliminary data, during both events, large volumes of solar mass were ejected into interplanetary space at high speeds. The consequence of such emissions for the Earth was a short-term shutdown of the radio signal (R3) on the daytime side of our planet. That is, the blow fell on the States.

🚨 Massive disruptions have been observed in the work of US mobile operators. AT&T's network went down for many customers across the United States. Verizon and T-Mobile customers have also reported some network outages.

➡️In the USA, more than 120 thousand failures in cellular networks were registered after two solar flares of the strongest X-class.

➡️There were also outages of GPS and Glonass satellite communication systems in Australia, Indonesia, India and East Africa.

At that time, experts suggested that these could be only the first of many AR3590 flares, since the sunspot has an unstable beta-gamma-delta magnetic field containing energy for several X-class explosions. And indeed, less than a day later, a third, even more powerful flash followed!

💥THE THIRD BLOW FROM THE SUN!🌞

The most powerful X6.37 class flare in the last 7 years occurred on the Sun on February 23 in the period from 01:08 to 01:43. And this is the third X-class solar flare in 24 hours. All of them were without visible emissions of solar matter, which is very rare, since only 10% of X flares do not emit solar plasma.

❗️ It was the strongest solar flare of the 25th solar cycle. In terms of strength, this outbreak ranks 26th out of all observed since 1996. The previous more powerful solar event occurred on September 10, 2017 (an X-class 11.88 flare).

What else does the Sun have in store for us?

Interestingly, the AR3590 sunspot region is located at a sufficiently high latitude for this phase of the solar cycle. The sunspot regions approach the equator as they approach the solar maximum.

❓ Does it mean that the maximum is still ahead and the Sun will still show the power of accumulated energy?

NOAA experts have warned of the possibility of strong magnetic storms caused by coronal mass ejections (CMEs) and solar radiation that accompany solar flares.

NOAA also noted that the plasma ejected by the Sun will reach Earth on February 25. But the maximum of the Sun is still ahead, and it will still show the power of accumulated energy!

🌞📈💥 THE THREAT FROM THE SUN IS GROWING!

Scientists are very concerned about these events. Recently, they warned that in the coming year 2024, the Sun will experience stronger flares than in the past.

But the fact that since the beginning of the year there have already been five flashes of the highest class on the Sun is shocking.

ℹ️ Recall that the 25th cycle of solar activity began in 2019 and will last approximately until 2030. Initially, its peak was predicted for the middle of 2025, but as we can see, the Sun is already showing tremendous activity.

💥According to scientists, the main reason for the sharp increase in solar activity is the high—energy cosmic impact, which has included the entire Solar System in its zone of influence. It affects the cores of planets and satellites, causing increased seismic and volcanic activity, and also affects the stability of magnetic fields.

This cosmic radiation affects only superdense objects, such as the cores of planets and the Sun.
This cosmic radiation affects only superdense objects, such as the cores of planets and the Sun.

🌞 Unlike planets, the Sun has been at a minimum activity stage for a long time. The sun reacted to the external impact with some delay. This is understandable, because its mass is 330,000 times the mass of the Earth. This means that more time was needed to "warm up" such a giant. Now, the process of activating the Sun began to rapidly gain momentum.

🔄 At the same time, the Earth's magnetic field is critically weakening, the atmosphere is settling, and the solar wind is sinking lower and lower to the surface.

⚠️🗣 Scientists record the destruction of ozone from the solar wind at an altitude of 75 kilometers. And soon people will see how the ozone layer is already being destroyed in the stratosphere at an altitude below 50 kilometers.

❓☀️ How can a strong geomagnetic storm end in conditions of minimal protection of the magnetic field?

This is a threat to human health and life, since in addition to the deterioration of people's physical condition, the consequences of outbreaks threaten to disable equipment in transport systems, aviation, road systems, satellites, navigation systems, electrical networks and so on.

The situation is critical, so:
🔴 It is important to bring out the topic of climate change as the main problem for the world community.
🔴 It is necessary to immediately unite the scientific potential of mankind into a single scientific center to solve this global problem.
