For the last 6,000 years, we have been living in a consumer-oriented society, we support it and unfortunately strengthen it. We just don't understand that this slave existence has been imposed on us and we have to live in a different way. But some 6,000 years ago, people lived in a creative format, they did not know what war was, what elites were, what the power of one person over another was.
To understand what a Consumer society is and what it based on, it is enough to look at how we deal with each other. We literally consume, we just use for our selfish purposes everyone we can: in relationships, in business, in public administration. That's selfishness that underlies the Consumer format of society. All the derivatives of egoism: power, greed, malice in every person together create our world.
We destroy each other in wars for someone else’s benefit.
We destroy each other by stealing economically.
We destroy each other by holding back science, deceiving and hiding real scientific data.
We destroy each other by our inaction.
We destroy the planet simply by not caring about everything: forests, seas, swamps, rivers, atmosphere. We benefit from everything without even thinking about the delicate balance of ecological systems that ensure the life of our planet and us on it.
We only consume, each of us and all of humanity as a whole – like an all-consuming demon. This is the consumer format of society.
